Awana Store Night

Our last Awana for the year is quickly approaching along with a store night. 

One Service on December 25th

Crossroads is having one service on Christmas Sunday starting at 10:00 a.m. More details will follow on the program for the children on that day.

We are also having a Christmas Eve service on the 24th. It starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m.

There is no Awana on December 20th and 27th. Awana will resume on January 3rd with "We're Back, Backwards Night."

Prior to Christmas, December 6th is "Wrap Your Leader Night" and December 13th is a Store Night.

Grants Pass Christmas Parade

"Christmas Wishes"

The annual Christmas parade is this Saturday, December 3rd, starting at 7:00 p.m. All kids going on the hay ride will need to arrive at the B of A parking lot at 6th/7th and 'L' by 6:40 p.m. Dress warmly and be prepared for the weather. The parade will head up 6th Street and end at 'F'. We will be handing out candy canes to the crowd.

Crossroads will also have its coffee, cocoa, and cookie trailer set up at the corner of 6th and J St. Contact Rene Ford if you wish to help.

Hilarious Hair Night and Store Night - October 25th

Tuesday is our Hilarious Hair night at Awana. It is always a favorite as we anticipate just how creative clubbers and leaders can be with their hair. It is also a Store Night.

We are in the middle of Operation Christmas Child with the shoe boxes being due back by Tuesday, November 15th.

Crossroads Family Fesitval is happening again on October 31st. It will be from 6-8 p.m.

Awana is off and rolling

With our Grand Prix being over, we are now into our Awana year.

Last night was out first night of Awana, and all things considered it was a good night with 79 clubbers present. We had one leader step down prior to our first meeting, and we are scrambling to fill his void along with needing some assistant leaders and listeners as many of our regulars are away at present. We also need at least one assistant to our secretary. We could not function anywhere near where we should without our secretaries!

There is a parent orientation on October 4th. We also we be having a parenting class during Awana - "Shepherding a Child's Heart." Please contact the church office if you are interested.

On the Sunday morning side of things, we are still in need of a teacher during our 8:30 elementary program.

New Kindergarten - 2nd grade class off to a good start

Last Sunday we split our K-5th graders with the younger ones going to a new room and a just-for-them class. Things went really well and we are excited about the future. Some of the second graders were more comfortable with the K-1 kids and some were more comfortable with the older ones. We let them make the choice and it really worked. Thanksto Joel and Rachel Nieland for making this happen, and thanks to our other Sunday morning leadership for caring for our kids the way you do.

Awana Leadership Dinner

Tuesday, September 13th, is our Awana leadership dinner and year kick-off. The meal starts at 6:00 p.m. and the whole leadership team and their families is welcome.

Awana Grand Prix this Saturday

Hopefully you've picked up your car kit and are ready to go for our first Awana Grand Prix this Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. Car check-in will begin at 9:15. Hotdog lunch will be served.
