The annual Grants Pass Christmas Parade is happening again this Saturday, December 4th. But this year it is literally heading a new direction. Rather than starting at F Street and heading south, it will be starting at L Street and heading north up 6th. The parade starts at 7:00 p.m., and all children need to be at the Bank of America parking lot at 6th and L by about 6:30ish in order to participate.
The theme this year is Critter Christmas, so if you want to bring a stuffed animal (NOT A REAL ONE) please do so. We will be singing Christmas songs for the parade onlookers. Also, we have 3,000 candy canes to hand out so we need parents to walk alongside and do this for us.
Again this year we will have a coffee, cocoa, and cookie tralier set up at the corner of 6th and J handing out free goodies. If you would like to help there show up and offer an hand or contact Jim and Rene Ford.
