Our theme for Vacation Bible School this year is DRIVE! It happens during the first week of August, and it is for kids 4yrs of age through 5th grade. Children need to be 4 by September 1st in order to be eligible. Everything will be centered in a racing theme, with skits, songs, crafts, games, sacks, and great teaching. Put it on your calendar and don't forget to register.

Another great Awana year
Tuesday, May 24th, was our awards night for our 2010-2011 Awana year, and it capped off a really good year. During the year we saw over 100 children with a regular attendance in excess of 80 along with 40 fantastic volunteers. Tuesday was a great night as we celebrated the year and all that the clubbers had accomplished.
Awana 2011-2012 will kick off again on September 17th with a bbq and our first Awana Grand Prix. Grand Prix is a racing event in which the clubbers built their own car from a kit we will make available over the summer. We race 4 cars at a time down a wooden track and there will be a wide variety of prizes from car design to consistent winning speed.
The price for the kits will be set soon, but wil most likely be about $5 each to help cover the cost of the cars, awards, and the bbq.
